Tuition & Fees

Certificate Programs - 30 Completed Credit Hours.              

The Certificate program is designed to provide an introduction in the following branches:

• Biblical Studies and Theology
• Counseling Psychology
• Mental Health
• Pastoral/Practical Ministry
• Leadership and Management
• Inter-Cultural Studies. 

It is foundational and provides insight for both laity and those who wish to become involved in active ministry. 

Certificate Programs are  (10 months of coursework along with ministry practicum). Thirty credits are required with a 2.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) on a scale of 4.0. The Thirty credits must be taken from Evangel College and Seminary.                                         

Diploma Programs – 60 Completed Credit Hours.                

The Diploma program is designed to provide an introduction in the following branches:

• Biblical Studies and Theology
• Counseling Psychology
• Mental Health
• Pastoral/Practical Ministry
• Leadership and Management
• Inter-Cultural Studies. 

Diploma Programs are  (20 months of coursework along with ministry practicum). Sixty credits are required with a 2.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) on a scale of 4.0. After Completing the certificate program, only 30 Credits are required to earn the Diploma.

The Thirty credits (Certificate Course) must be taken from Evangel College and Seminary or an institute recognized by Covenant University or any TACI accredited Schools and approved by Evangel College and Seminary, California, United States.

Associate Degree Programs – 90 Completed Credit Hours

The Associate Degree program is designed to provide an introduction in the following branches:

• Biblical Studies and Theology
• Counseling Psychology
• Christian Ministry
• Pastoral Studies
• Leadership and Management
• Inter-Cultural Studies. 

Associate Degree Programs are  (28 months of coursework along with ministry practicum). 90 credits are required with a 2.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) on a scale of 4.0. After Completing the Diploma program, only 30 Credits are required to earn the Associate Degree.

The Sixty credits (Diploma Course) must be taken from Evangel College and Seminary or an institute recognized by Covenant University or any TACI accredited Schools and approved by Evangel College and Seminary, California, United States.

Bachelor Degree Programs – 120 Completed Credit Hours

A student may obtain one of the following degrees at the Bachelor Level:

• Bachelor of Arts in Counseling
• Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies
• Bachelor of Arts in Leadership & Management
• Bachelor of Arts in Practical Ministry
• Bachelor of Arts in Theology

The Bachelor credit program is designed to provide enrichment in the areas of biblical truths and effective ministry. Both the laity and those pursuing active ministries will benefit from this program. A total of 120 credits (this includes 90 from the Associate program) are required with a 2.5 GPA on a scale of 4.0. After Completing the Associate program, only 30 Credits are required to earn the Associate Degree.

The Ninety credits (Associate Degree Course) must be taken from Evangel College and Seminary or an institute recognized by Covenant University or any TACI accredited Schools and approved by Evangel College and Seminary, California, United States.

Master Degree Programs – 70 Credits Hours

The Master credit program is designed for those pursuing full-time ministry. This program requires independent research and study. Entrance into the Master’s credit program requires the candidates to have a 3.0 GPA, on a scale of 4.0 on their undergraduate transcripts. To receive a Master Degree, a total of 180 credits (which includes 120 credits from the Baccalaureate program) are required with a 3.0 GPA, on a scale of 4.0. The 60 credits (above the 120 Bachelor credits) can be accomplished in one of two ways:

• By taking 16 courses (48 credits), plus Ministry Practicum (6 credits) and a Master’s Thesis (6 credits).
• By taking thirteen courses (39 credits), plus Ministry Practicum (6 credits), Master's Thesis (6 credits), plus Ministry / Leadership /  Professional Experiences for 15 years or more  in the relevant field (9 Credits).

Doctorate Degree Programs:

Doctor of Ministry - 210 Total Credit hours

• Doctor of Ministry - D.Min. Counseling Psychology
• Doctor of Ministry - D.Min. Christian Leadership & Management
• Doctor of Ministry - D.Min. Theology/Biblical Studies
• Doctor of Ministry - D.Min. Ministry/Missions
• Doctor of Ministry - D.Min. Pastoral/Practical Ministry.

The Doctorate credit program requires in-depth research into various areas of theology and ministry. This program necessitates independent study and writing. Admission to the Doctorate credit program requires a Master’s degree with a 3.0 GPA, on a scale of 4.0 on graduate and undergraduate transcripts.

• Doctor of Ministry requires 220 total credits which also includes a 150-page Doctoral Dissertation and Practicum.                                       

Doctorate Degree Programs:

Doctor of Divinity - 240 Total Credit hours

• Doctor of Philosophy in Counseling Psychology - Ph.D.
• Doctor of Philosophy in Leadership & Management - Ph.D
• Doctor of Philosophy in Theology - Ph.D
• Doctor of Philosophy in Ministry/Missions - Ph.D
• Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Education - Ph.D

Honorary Degrees are awarded yearly on our International Convocations based on the Profile, Achievements, Ministry or Professional Experiences, Submission of Doctoral Thesis, Face to Face Interview, Recommendation of the International Faculty Team of ECS and Approval of the Board.

• Grades and transcripts will not be released until the student’s account is brought current.
